One of the joys of summer is being able to pick produce from our gardens and serve a bountiful meal to our family. This salad has fresh tomato, fresh strawberry on a layer spinach. The colorful reds, greens, orange, purple and white show natures true beauty. The cottage cheese makes a great dressing and adds a little protein, along with the egg and nuts. Vitamins and minerals make a powerful meal.

Tips for Storing Strawberries
- Do not wash the strawberries until you are ready to eat them.
- If storing for more than a day the refrigerator is the best place to store your strawberries.
- Store on a flat plate or shallow bowl on a layer of paper towels and cover.
- If you will not be using the strawberries within a few days then you should freeze them.
